Why school is failing teenagers right now

Coronavirus. What a pain in the ass for absolutely every person in every country this year. I am 19 years old and have recently dropped out of college for multiple reasons and this is temporary while this virus is still a thing. But think about this parents. I believe kids are just not learning right now. With these online courses and the teachers at these $50,000 colleges have to change the way they teach from in person to over zoom. What disappoints me about college right now is that these teachers are more concerned about results then actual learning. Any college student that is taking online classes have more resources to cheat and find answers to their quizzes and homework than ever before. With both of my parents being teachers, I value the hardship of school. The late nights your forced to stay up and review notes while your eyes are sore and ur fatigue is exponentially declining, there is a deeper lesson school should teach us. First, I know teachers are misserable and no one could ever imagine how much this virus actually sucks for them that they cant see their kids everyday. But the principle of waking up at 7:30am to go to a class that, maybe in 15 years you will never need, the hardship and maturity of trying everyday shows growth. And thats no matter anything you do in ur life. But both students and teachers need to be held more accountable more than ever. We need more doctors and lawyers to actually know what they are doing. Not just pass the class, get the degree and just hopefully one of your letter of rec finds someone that will hire you. And if you want to live your life like that, I wont judge. But, People shouldn’t be wanting to be rich with all this money, but want to be a legend in their profession. Help wanting to change the world by ur unbelievable passion and consistency to help change the attitude and work ethic for someone younger than you. I rather be a influence than the richest man in the world. Kinda a big reason I started this blog.
